Biological description
Highly potent and selective agonist at mGlu2 and mGlu3 receptors (EC50 values are 5.1 and 24.3 nM, respectively). Displays no agonist or antagonist activity at mGlu1a, mGlu5a, mGlu4 or mGlu7 receptors at concentrations up to 100 μM. Orally and systemically active. Anxiolytic and antiaddictive effects in vivo.
