Biological description
Red emitting carbonyl-reactive fluorescent dye for labeling of aldehydes and ketones. Analog of Cy5® hydrazide. Reacts nearly quantitatively with various carbonyl groups encountered in biomolecules, such as proteins subjected to oxidative stress, glycosylated proteins pre-activated by periodate oxidation (including antibodies), and oligonucleotides with aldehyde moieties.

Handling
Wherever possible, you should prepare and use solutions on the same day. However, if you need to make up stock solutions in advance, we recommend that you store the solution as aliquots in tightly sealed vials at -20°C.
