Red: alpha Tubulin stained with an alpha Tubulin antibody at 1/500 dilution.
Blue: Hoechst 33342 staining. -
Cross-linked ChIP was performed with HeLa (human epithelial cell line from cervix adenocarcinoma) chromatin extract treated with Trichostatin A (0.4 μM for 18 hours) and 5 μg of either control rabbit IgG or ab227855. The precipitated DNA was detected by PCR with primer set targeting to GAPDH or TEXT12.

Histone H4 (acetyl K8) was immunoprecipitated from HeLa (human epithelial cell line from cervix adenocarcinoma) whole cell extract with 2.5 µg ab227855. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab227855. Anti-rabbit IgG (HRP) was used as a secondary reagent.
Lane 1: 30 μg whole cell lysate/extract of Histone H4 (acetyl K8) protein expressing HeLa cells (0.4 µM TSA treatment for 18 hours).
Lane 2: Control with 2.5 μg of pre-immune rabbit IgG.
Lane 3: Immunoprecipitation of Histone H4 (acetyl K9) protein by 2.5 μg of ab227855.
12% SDS-PAGE gel.
The immunoprecipitated Histone H4 (acetyl K9) protein was detected by WB using ab227855 at a 1/5000.
