Potent, specific adenosine kinase inhibitor (IC50 = 26 nM). Inhibits platelet aggregation and spreading, and interferes with adenosine and adenine nucleotide metabolism. Additionally inhibits other kinases such as ERK2 (Ki = 525 nM).
