Biological description
Inhibitor of the Na+/2Cl-/K+ cotransporter. Loop diuretic. Also acts as a non-competitive antagonist at GABAA receptors displaying approx. 100-fold greater selectivity for α6-containing receptors over α1-containing receptors.

Handling
