  • Immunogen

    Synthetic peptide corresponding to Human Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 2/MGLUR2 aa 850 to the C-terminus (C terminal). The immunogen used for this product shares 92% homology with Metabotropic glutamate receptor 3. Cross-reactivity with this protein has not been confirmed experimentally.

    Immunocytochemistry analysis of mouse primary neurone cells labelling MGLUR2 with ab150387 at 2 µg/mL. Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilized with 0.1% Triton X-100. Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 488) (ab150113) at 1/1000 was used as the secondary antibody (green). Cells were counterstained with Anti-MAP2 rabbit monoclonal antibody (ab11267) at 1/500 dilution and Goat Anti-Mouse IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 594) (ab150120) at 1/1000 dilution (red). Nuclear DNA was labelled with DAPI (blue).

    Flow Cytometry analysis of SH-SY5Y (human neuroblastoma) cells labeling Metabotropic Glutamate Receptor 2/MGLUR2 with unpurified ab150387 at 1/70 dilution (10µg/ml) (red). Cells were fixed with 4% paraformaldehyde and permeabilised with 90% methanol. A Goat anti rabbit IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488)(1/2000 dilution) was used as the secondary antibody. Rabbit monoclonal IgG (Black) was used as the isotype control, cells without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody (Blue) were used as the unlabeled control.
