All lanes : Anti-GDF9 antibody [53/1] (ab273455) at 1/1000 dilution
Lane 1 : Human ovary tissue lysate
Lane 2 : Human ovary cancer tissue lysate
Lane 3 : Human testis tissue lysate
Lane 4 : Human epididymis tissue lysate
Lane 5 : Human brain tissue lysate
Lysates/proteins at 20 µg per lane.
Secondary
All lanes : Peroxidase-Conjugated Goat anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) at 1/5000 dilution
Predicted band size: 52 kDa
Observed band size: 57,70 kDa why is the actual band size different from the predicted?
Exposure time: 26 secondsThis data was produced using the same clone but in a different formulation, ab273455.
The doublet bands are the precursor form of GDF 9 and have been described in the previous literature. (PMID: 24438375, 32350111)
Negative control: Brain (PMID: 22732078).Blocking/Dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.

This data was produced using the same clone but in a different formulation, ab273455.
Flow cytometric analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde fixed 90% methanol permeabilized NIH:OVCAR-3 (Human ovary adenocarcinoma epithelial cell) cells labelling GDF 9 with ab273455 at 1/1000 dilution (0.1µg) (Red) compared with a Mouse monoclonal IgG (Black) isotype control and an unlabelled control (cells without incubation with primary antibody and secondary antibody) (Blue). A Goat anti mouse IgG (Alexa Fluor® 488, ab150113) at 1/2000 dilution was used as the secondary antibody.
