Biological description
Potent, selective, cell-permeable, ATP-competitive Pim-1 kinase inhibitor (IC50 = 17 nM). Moderately potent against Pim-2 kinase. Selective versus a panel of other serine/threonine and tyrosine kinases. Inhibits the growth of myeloid and lymphoid cell lines. Induces cell cycle arrest in leukemia and prostate cancer cells.
