Biological description
Primary amine-reactive protein modification thiolating reagent. Adds protected sulfhydryls to targeted proteins. Induces stable recombinant TNF-α trimer formation by formation of disulfide bridges between reactive thiol groups on adjacent TNF-α molecules, which show increased therapeutic efficacy in vivo. -
