Selective inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide-gated (CNG) channels. Blocks rod-type CNGA1, olfactory-type CNGA2 and cone-type CNGA3, at micromolar concentrations. Optical isomer of diltiazem (ab120260). Protects against myocardial dysfunction in vitro.
