Biological description
Potent DYRK1A/B inhibitor (IC50 values are 0.23 and 0.24 µM for DYRK1B and DYRK1A respectively). Also inhibits DYRK2, DTRK4, CLK1, CLK4, casein kinase 1 and PIM1 (> 90% inhibition at 10 μM). Reverses aberrant tau-phosphorylation and rescues repressed calcineurin/NFAT signaling. Impairs the self-renewal capacity of neural stem cells and glioblastoma tumor-initiating cells.
