Biological description
Novel, non-competitive lactic acid dehydrogenase (LDH) inhibitor (Ki values are 5.46 and 15.06 μM for LDH-A and LDH-B respectively). Non-competitive inhibition of pyruvate and NADH. Inhibits cell metabolism and induces cell death. Blocks RNA synthesis in vitro.
