By immunoelectrophoresis and ELISA this antibody reacts specifically with Rabbit IgG and with light chains common to other Rabbit immunoglobulins. No antibody was detected against non immunoglobulin serum proteins. Reduced cross-reactivity to bovine, chicken, goat, horse, human, mouse, pig and rat was detected.

Antiserum was cross adsorbed using bovine, chicken, goat, human, mouse, pig and rat immunosorbents to remove cross reactive antibodies. This antibody was isolated by affinity chromatography using antigen coupled to agarose beads and conjugated to Horse Radish Peroxidase (HRP). -

ab134047 staining VCAM1 in mouse aorta tissue sections by Immunohistochemistry (IHC-Fr - frozen sections). Tissue was fixed with methanol and blocked with 10% normal donkey serum for 2 hours at room temperature. Samples were incubated with primary antibody (1/200 in PBS + 0.1% Triton + 2% normal donkey serum) for 12 hours at 4°C. A HRP-conjugated donkey anti-rabbit IgG H&L (ab97085) (1/1000) was used as the secondary antibody
