All lanes : Anti-Serine racemase antibody [EPR18747] (ab182217) at 1/1000 dilution
Lane 1 : Mouse brain tissue lysate
Lane 2 : Mouse heart tissue lysate
Lane 3 : Mouse liver tissue lysate
Lane 4 : Rat brain tissue lysate
Lane 5 : Rat heart tissue lysate
Lane 6 : Rat liver tissue lysate
Lysates/proteins at 10 µg per lane.
Secondary
All lanes : Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (ab97051) at 1/100000 dilution
Developed using the ECL technique.
Predicted band size: 37 kDa
Observed band size: 34-36 kDa why is the actual band size different from the predicted?
Exposure time: 41 secondsThis data was developed using ab182217, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
Blocking and dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.
The expression profile observed is consistent with the literature; heart tissue is expected to be negative for serine racemase (PMID: 10557334).

This data was developed using ab182217, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
Serine racemase was immunoprecipitated from 0.35 mg of mouse brain tissue lysate with ab182217 at 1/30 dilution. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab182217 at 1/1000 dilution. VeriBlot for IP Detection Reagent (HRP) (ab131366) was used for detection at 1/1000 dilution.
Lane 1: Mouse brain tissue lysate 10 µg (Input).
Lane 2: ab182217 IP in mouse brain tissue lysate.
Lane 3 Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab182217 in mouse brain tissue lysate.
Blocking and dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.
Exposure time: 1 second.
