Factor IX is a glycoprotein. Zymogen FIX (66 kDa), intermediate FIXα (45 kDa), and heavy chain of FIXaβ (30 kDa) are observed. The molecular weight observed is consistent with what has been described in the literature (PMID: 20110423, 2294100, 18192270).

Immunoprecipitation - Anti-Factor IX/PTC antibody [EPR22846-238] (ab255824)Factor IX/PTC was immunoprecipitated from 0.35 mg Human plasma with ab255824 at 1/30 dilution (2µg in 0.35mg lysates). Western blot was performed on the immunoprecipitate using ab255824 at 1/1000 dilution. VeriBlot for IP Detection Reagent (HRP) (ab131366) was used at 1/5000 dilution.

Lane 2: ab255824 IP in Human plasma
Lane 3: Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab255824 in Human plasma.
