Purification notes
Pooled antisera are passed over DEAE-cellulose to produce an IgG enriched fraction. Antibodies specific to type I and type III pig collagen are then immobilised by affinity chromatography and eluted with an acidic buffer. The final purification steps are neutralisation, dialysis and lyophilisation. -
