Biological activity
The biological activity of recombinant chicken IL-10 was determined by measuring IFN-gamma expression by RTPCR in Concanavalin A-stimulated chicken spleen lymphocytes. Results demonstrate decreased IFN-gamma gene expression, with the addition of recombinant chicken IL-10, in a dose dependant manner, with doses starting at 2 ng/ml.
