Biological description
Selective antitumor agent. Active against colon, renal and breast carcinomas in vitro and ex vivo. Inhibits thioredoxin reductase with potencies correlated with antiproliferative and cytotoxic effects. Potent inhibitory effect in NCI 60 cells (GI50 =0.23 µM and LC50 = 3.39 µM).

Handling
