MES Run Buffer (20X) - RunBlue™ (Bis-Tris) (ab270224) is designed for use with Bis-Tris Protein Gels. This buffer is made using high purity ingredients. Buffers are provided at 20X concentration, and it is recommended to dilute with deionized water for use.
This product is manufactured by Expedeon, an Abcam company. Expedeon product code NXB70425 was previously called RunBlue MES Run Buffer - 4L (20x Concentrate) and is the same as the 4000 mL size of this product. Expedeon product code NXB70500 was previously called RunBlue MES Run Buffer - 500 ml (20x Concentrate) and is the same as the 500 mL size.
ab270224 is recommended for small to medium sized proteins run on any RunBlue™ Bis-Tris gel. Using pre-mixed buffers is a convenient way to decrease variability between results and save time in the lab.
Please note that for TEO-Tricine Precast Gels – RunBlue™ we recommend using Run Buffer (20X) -RunBlue™ (TEO-Tricine) (ab119197).
