PKC activator; reactivates HIV-1 latency (IC50 = ~0.5 µM) by PKC dependent NF-κB activation. Downregulates expression of HIV-1 receptor CD4 and its co-receptors CXCR4 and CCR5 in vitro. Non-tumor promoting. -
