Biological description
Potent, specific inhibitor of the Wnt signaling pathway. Binds to the coactivator CBP, inhibiting its interaction with β-catenin (IC50 = 150 nM). Selectively induces apoptosis in colon carcinoma cells in vitro. Exhibits anti-tumor activity in mouse xenograft colon cancer models.
