Nootropic. Potentiates ACh currents (EC50 = 1 nM, α4β2 receptor in cortical neurons) and NMDA currents, via interaction with the glycine binding site (EC50 = 10 nM). Shows potent neuroprotective effects and anticonvulsant effects in vivo. -

Handling
