Product overview
Human CCL19 ELISA Kit (ab245723) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of CCL19 protein in cell culture supernatant, cit plasma, hep plasma, and serum. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Human CCL19 with 1.04 pg/ml sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. See the SimpleStep ELISA® protocol summary in the image section for further details. Our SimpleStep ELISA® technology provides several benefits:
- Single-wash protocol reduces assay time to 90 minutes or less
- High sensitivity, specificity and reproducibility from superior antibodies
- Fully validated in biological samples
- 96-wells plate breakable into 12 x 8 wells stripsA 384-well SimpleStep ELISA® microplate (ab203359) is available to use as an alternative to the 96-well microplate provided with SimpleStep ELISA® kits.

Function
May play a role not only in inflammatory and immunological responses but also in normal lymphocyte recirculation and homing. May play an important role in trafficking of T-cells in thymus, and T-cell and B-cell migration to secondary lymphoid organs. Specifically binds to chemokine receptor CCR7. Recombinant CCL19 shows potent chemotactic activity for T-cells and B-cells but not for granulocytes and monocytes. -
Tissue specificity
Expressed at high levels in the lymph nodes, thymus and appendix. Intermediate levels seen in colon and trachea, while low levels found in spleen, small intestine, lung, kidney and stomach. -
Sequence similarities
Belongs to the intercrine beta (chemokine CC) family. -
Cellular localization
Secreted. - Information by UniProt

SimpleStep ELISA technology allows the formation of the antibody-antigen complex in one single step, reducing assay time to 90 minutes. Add samples or standards and antibody mix to wells all at once, incubate, wash, and add your final substrate. See protocol for a detailed step-by-step guide.

The CCL19 standard curve was prepared as described in Section 10. Raw data values are shown in the table. Background-subtracted data values (mean +/- SD) are graphed.

The concentrations of CCL19 were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the CCL19 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows: serum 50%, plasma (citrate) 25%, and plasma (heparin) 50%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean CCL19 concentration was determined to be 45.9 pg/mL in serum, 53.9 pg/mL in plasma (citrate), and 33.9 pg/mL in plasma (heparin).

The concentrations of CCL19 were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the CCL19 standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows: HDLM-2 cell culture supernatant 100% and PBMC cell culture supernatant 100%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean CCL19 concentration was determined to be 41.6 pg/mL in HDLM-2 cell culture supernatant and 288.5 pg/ml in PBMC cell culture supernatant stimulated with 1.5% PHA for 46 hours.
-
Interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean CCL19 concentration was determined to be 80.6 pg/mL with a range of 8.8 - 436.0 pg/mL.
