General notes
ab94037 is a 293T cell transfected lysate in which human CHRAC-17 has been transiently over-expressed using a pCMV-CHRAC-17 plasmid. The lysate is provided in 1X Sample Buffer. Note: For more detailed how the transfected lysate was prepared view preparation notes.
Protein previously known as DNA Polymerase epsilon.

Background
Function: Forms a complex with DNA polymerase epsilon subunit CHRAC1 and binds naked DNA, which is then incorporated into chromatin, aided by the nucleosome-remodeling activity of ISWI/SNF2H and ACF1. Tissue specificity: Expressed in all tissues tested, including, heart, brain, placenta, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas.
