Biological description
Monocarboxylic acid transport (MCT) inhibitor. Exhibits antitumoral and antiangiogenic activity in gliomas in vivo. Decreases glycolytic metabolism, migration, and invasion in U251 cells. Enhances the effect of the DNA-methylating antitumor agent temozolomide (ab141055).

Handling
