This blot was produced using a 4-20% Criterion TGX gel in 1X SDS buffer. The gel was run at 180V for 40 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 25V for 7 minutes using the Trans-Blot turbo transfer system. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 3% milk before being incubated with ab241150 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was detected using a Goat anti-Rabbit antibody conjugated to HRP, and visualised using Bio-Rad Clarity Western ECL substrate.

All batches of ab241150 are tested in Peptide Array against peptides to different Histone H3 and H4 modifications. Six dilutions of each peptide are printed on to the Peptide Array in triplicate and results are averaged before being plotted on to a graph. Results show strong binding to Histone H3 - acetyl K9 peptide (ab16635), indicating that this antibody specifically recognises the Histone H3 - acetyl K9 modification.
