Relevance
FAAP24 was identified as a protein that interacts with FANCM as part of the core Fanconi Anemia complex. It is homologous to the XPF family of endonucleases. FAAP24 is required for normal levels of FANCD2 ubiquitination after DNA damage. Knockdown of FAAP24 leads to chromosomal instability. -
