Novel potent and selective mammalian rapamycin (mTOR) inhibitor (IC50 = 2.8 nM). Highly selective against multiple PI3K isoforms. Also targets P-Akt (IC50 = 80 nM) and pS6 (IC50 = 200 nM). An oral inhibitor with potential anti-neoplastic activity.
