Biological description
Selective mitotic microtubule antagonist. Inhibits multiple human tumor cell lines (IC50 = 1.25 nM in HeLa cells). Blocks metaphase/anaphase transition (IC50 = 3.8 nM). Active in vivo. Orally active. Shows antimitotic and antitumor activity. -

Handling
