Biological description
Selective α1-adrenoceptor antagonist and 5-HT1A receptor partial agonist (IC50 values are 0.7 and 0.4 μM respectively). Urapidil (ab142959) analog. Interacts with peripheral α1-adrenoceptors and central 5-HT1A receptors to produce vasodilation without sympathetic activation. Antihypertensive in vivo. Orally active. -
