Specific Activity: 6.2 pmol/min/µg.
Assay Conditions: 50 µl reaction mix (20 mM phosphate buffer pH 7.4, 20 µM S-adenosyl methionine, and 1-5 ng ab198122 add to the wells coated with the substrate. Incubate at room temperature for 1 hr. Add antibody against methylated R3 residue of histone H4, incubate 1 hr. Add secondary HRP-labeled antibody and incubate 30 min. Finally, add HRP chemiluminescent substrates and read luminesence. -
