Biological description
Positive allosteric modulator at AMPA receptors. Nootropic agent and GABA (ab120359) derivative. Potentiates cholinergic and glutamatergic neurotransmission via modulation of ion flux. Variety of biological effects including neuroprotection, anticonvulsant properties and reduced vascular endothelium adhesion. Active in vivo.
Also available in simple stock solutions (ab146734) - add 1 ml of water to get an exact, ready-to-use concentration. -
