Biological description
Potent, selective and cell-permeable Ca2+-dependent calpain inhibitor (Ki values are 210 and 370 nM for calpain-1 and calpain-2 respectively). Non-competitive and non-peptide. Irreversibly inhibits ICa through AMPA receptors. Anti-ischemic effects in vivo.

Handling
