Biological description
Potent, ATP-competitive mTOR kinase inhibitor. Inhibits TORC1 (IC50 = 22 nM) and TORC2 (IC50 = 65 nM) mTor complexes. Greater than 100-fold selective for mTOR versus PI3K-alpha, PI3K-beta, PI3K-gamma and DNA-PK. Anti-proliferative against myeloid/megakaryocytic acute lukemia cell lines.
