Biological description
Highly potent and selective HDAC inhibitor. Greater potency for HDAC4 and HDAC5 (IC50 = 11.9 and 4.2 nM, respectively) than other HDAC family members (IC50 values = HDAC1 320 nM, HDAC2 881 nM, HDAC6 55.7 nM, and HDAC8 1278 nM. Demonstrates inhibitor activity in human ovarian cell lines (IC50 =0.49µM) and cisplatin resistant cell lines (IC50 = 0.32µM).
