Biological description
Potent mTOR inhibitor (mTORC1 & mTOTC2 IC50 = 10 nM). Highly selective against a panel of 76 protein kinases and 7 lipid kinases. Inhibits activation of Akt, S6K and SGK. Suppresses cell growth and induces G1 cell cycle arrest in vitro.
