Biological description
Potent, selective MEK inhibitor. Antiproliferative agent. Reduces expression of Ras-inducible genes (MMP-1, MMP-9, TGF-β and VEGF). Inhibits growth of cancer cell lines (IC50 values are 78 and 900 μM for HT29 and HCT116 respectively). Shows antifungal effects in vivo. -
