Human EGFL7 ELISA kit (ab275896) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Human EGFL7 protein in human serum, plasma (EDTA), cell culture supernatant, and cell and tissue extract. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Human EGFL7 with 0.11 ng/mL sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. Notes
Epidermal growth factor-like protein 7 (EGFL7), also known as Vascular endothelial statin, NOTCH4-like protein, and Zneu1, is a protein encoded by the gene EGFL7. EGFL7 is expressed as a 273-amino acid protein containing a 22- amino acid N-terminal signal peptide, a 78- amino acid EMI domain, and two EGF-like domains. EGFL7 helps regulate vascular tubulogenesis, inhibits platelet-derived growth factor BB-induced smooth muscle migration, and promotes endothelial cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix.

The EGFL7 standard curve was prepared as described in Section 10. Raw data values are shown in the table. Background-subtracted data values (mean +/- SD) are graphed.

Huvec extract was spiked with recombinant EGFL7 protein alongside due to the low native expression of the target protein. The concentrations of EGFL7 were measured in duplicate and interpolated from the EGFL7 standard curve and corrected for sample dilution. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2).
