General notes
Ab231760 detects blue pre-stained protein markers (specifically Remazol brilliant blue R dye stained proteins). It allows the visualisation of pre-stained protein ladders in combination with the bands of interest without needing to merge images or manually mark film (PubMed ID: 27531616). The antibody is conjugated to HRP to permit direct visualisation by chemiluminescence.

All lanes : HRP Anti-Blue Ladder antibody [2D2-F11] (ab231760) at 1/5000 dilution
Lane 1 : Marker Chameleon
Lane 2 : Thermo Scientific Pageruler Plus
Lane 3 : All Blue BioRad
Lysates/proteins at 1 µl per lane.
Developed using the ECL technique.
Performed under reducing conditions.
Exposure time: 30 secondsThis blot was produced using a 4-12% Bis-tris gel under the MOPS buffer system. The gel was run at 200V for 50 minutes before being transferred onto a Nitrocellulose membrane at 30V for 70 minutes. The membrane was then blocked for an hour using 3% milk before being incubated with ab231760 overnight at 4°C. Antibody binding was visualised using ECL development solution ab133406.
