Selective IGF-1R/IR tyrosine kinase inhibitor -
Biological description
Selective IGF-1R (IC50 = 27 nM in cell) and Insulin Receptor (IC50 = 25 nM) tyrosine kinase inhibitor in cell-free assays. Reversible, ATP-competitive (Ki = 1.6 nM). Blocks ligand induced autophosphorylation of IGF-1R and IR and activation of downstream Akt, IRS-1 and ERK signaling pathways. Inhibits proliferation of various cell lines. Induces G1 cell cycle arrest.
