Biological description
Non-selective histone lysine methyltransferase inhibitor (IC50 values are0.8, 2.5 and 3 μM for Suv39H1, G9a and DIM5 respectively). Competitive, selective thioredoxin substrate. Induces ROS generation and oxidative stress. Selectively induces apoptosis in cancer cell lines. Shows antiproliferative effects in vivo. -
