Biological description
Kinase suppressor of Ras (KSR)-dependent MAPK modulator (IC50 of KSR2 = 120 ± 23 nM). Modulates signaling by antagonizing RAF heterodimerization as well as the conformational changes required for phosphorylation and activation of KSR-bound MEK. Binds to the ATP-binding domain of KSR proteins stabilizing them in an inactive state complexed with MEK.
