Biological description
Aldehyde and ketone reactive probe. Suitable for labeling proteins and other carbonyl-containing molecules. Ceramides can be derivatized using 7-(diethylamino)coumarin-3-carbonyl azide with subsequent gradient HPLC separation allowing sensitive optical quantification of individual cellular ceramides. Suitable for use in HPLC labeling of lipids and alkylcycloketones.

Handling
