Rat CD63 ELISA kit (ab278118) is a single-wash 90 min sandwich ELISA designed for the quantitative measurement of Rat CD63 protein in human cell and tissue extract samples. It uses our proprietary SimpleStep ELISA® technology. Quantitate Rat CD63 with 16.5 pg/mL sensitivity.
SimpleStep ELISA® technology employs capture antibodies conjugated to an affinity tag that is recognized by the monoclonal antibody used to coat our SimpleStep ELISA® plates. This approach to sandwich ELISA allows the formation of the antibody-analyte sandwich complex in a single step, significantly reducing assay time. Rat CD63 antigen, also referred to as Granulophysin, Lysomal-associated membrane protein 3 (LAMP-3), Tetraspanin-30, and Ocular melanoma-associated antigen, is a membrane bound protein encoded by the gene CD63. CD63 belongs to a group of proteins known as the tetraspanin family, which are characterized by the presence of four hydrophobic domains and are found to mediate signal transduction events for the regulation of cell development, activation, growth, and motility.

The CD63 standard curve was prepared as described in Section 10. Raw data values are shown in the table. Background-subtracted data values (mean +/- SD) are graphed.

The concentrations of CD63 were measured in duplicates, interpolated from the target standard curves and corrected for sample dilution. Undiluted samples are as follows: plasma (EDTA) 50%. The interpolated dilution factor corrected values are plotted (mean +/- SD, n=2). The mean target concentration was determined to be 467.2 pg/mL in plasma (EDTA).
