Selective K+ and NH4+ monovalent cation ionophore. Antibiotic agent. Induces cation transport across artificial membranes. Inhibits P-glycoprotein-mediated efflux of chemotherapeutic agents. Shows antibiotic effects in vivo. -

Handling
