General notes
Ab251462 is the carrier-free version of ab206966. This format is designed for use in antibody labeling, including fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, enzymes.
Our carrier-free formats are supplied in a buffer free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol for higher conjugation efficiency.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with
ab251462 is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm.
Maxpar® is a trademark of Fluidigm Canada Inc.
This product is a recombinant monoclonal antibody, which offers several advantages including:
- - High batch-to-batch consistency and reproducibility
- - Improved sensitivity and specificity
- - Long-term security of supply
- - Animal-free production

Anti-CXCL7/PBP antibody [EPR19780] (ab206966) at 1/1000 dilution + Human NAP2 active recombinant protein at 0.01 µg
Secondary
Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) (ab97051) at 1/100000 dilution
Predicted band size: 14 kDa
Observed band size: 11 kDa why is the actual band size different from the predicted?
Exposure time: 5 secondsThis data was developed using ab206966, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.

All lanes : Anti-CXCL7/PBP antibody [EPR19780] (ab206966) at 1/1000 dilution
Lane 1 : Human serum at 20 µg
Lane 2 : Human spleen lysate at 10 µg
Secondary
All lanes : Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG Peroxidase Conjugate, specific to the non-reduced form of IgG at 1/10000 dilution
Predicted band size: 14 kDa
Observed band size: 11 kDa why is the actual band size different from the predicted? This data was developed using ab206966, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.
Blocking and dilution buffer: 5% NFDM/TBST.
Exposure time: Lane 1: 10 seconds; Lane 2: 3 minutes.

This data was developed using ab206966, the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation.NAP2 was immunoprecipitated from 0.35 mg of Human serum with ab206966 at 1/30 dilution. Western blot was performed from the immunoprecipitate using ab206966 at 1/500 dilution. VeriBlot for IP Detection Reagent (HRP) (ab131366), was used for detection at 1/1000 dilution. Lane 1: Human serum 10µg (Input). Lane 2: ab206966 IP in Human serum. Lane 3: Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab206966 in Human serum. Blocking and dilution buffer and concentration: 5% NFDM/TBST. Exposure time: 5 seconds. The band at 50 kD is likely to be human IgG in input and rabbit IgG heavy chain in +ve and –ve lane, but this has not been tested.
