General notes
Ab251609 is the carrier-free version of ab237723. This format is designed for use in antibody labeling, including fluorochromes, metal isotopes, oligonucleotides, enzymes.
Our carrier-free formats are supplied in a buffer free of BSA, sodium azide and glycerol for higher conjugation efficiency.
Use our conjugation kits for antibody conjugates that are ready-to-use in as little as 20 minutes with
ab251609 is compatible with the Maxpar® Antibody Labeling Kit from Fluidigm.

Immunohistochemical analysis of paraffin-embedded mouse spleen tissue labeling CD8 alpha with ab237723 at 1/500 dilution, followed by the ready to use Rabbit specific IHC polymer detection kit HRP/DAB (ab209101).
Positive staining on the mouse spleen is shown. The section was incubated with ab237723 for 30 mins at room temperature. The immunostaining was performed on a Leica Biosystems BOND® RX instrument.
Secondary antibody only control: Used PBS instead of primary antibody, secondary antibody is the ready to use Rabbit specific IHC polymer detection kit HRP/DAB (ab209101).
This data was developed using the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation containing PBS, BSA, glycerol, and sodium azide (ab237723).

Immunohistochemical analysis of 4% paraformaldehyde-fixed, 0.2% Triton X-100 permeabilized frozen mouse thymus tissue labeling CD8 alpha with ab237723 at at 1/250 dilution, follwed by a AlexaFluor®488 Goat anti-Rabbit secondary antibody (ab150077) at 1/1000 dilution. Positive staining on the membrane of T cells in mouse thymus (PMID: 29042640) is observed. Counterstained with DAPI (Blue).
Secondary antibody only control: Used PBS instead of primary antibody, secondary antibody is a AlexaFluor®488 Goat anti-Rabbit secondary antibody (ab150077) at 1/1000 dilution.
This data was developed using the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation containing PBS, BSA, glycerol, and sodium azide (ab237723).

CD8 alpha was immunoprecipitated from 0.35 mg of Mouse thymus tissue lysate with ab237723 at 1/20 dilution. Western blot was performed on the immunoprecipitate using ab237723 at at 1/1000 dilution. VeriBlot for IP secondary antibody (HRP) (ab131366) was used as the secondary antibody at 1/5000 dilution.
Lane 1: Mouse thymus tissue lysate 10µg (input)
Lane 2: ab237723 IP in mouse thymus tissue lysate.
Lane 3: Rabbit monoclonal IgG (ab172730) instead of ab237723 in Mouse thymus lysateBlocking and dilution buffer and concentration: 5% NFDM/TBST.
Exposure time: 30 seconds.
This data was developed using the same antibody clone in a different buffer formulation containing PBS, BSA, glycerol, and sodium azide (ab237723).
